West Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, WHUUF, has a selection of spaces available for a wide variety of uses. The rooms listed here are our most popular spaces but are not all the only available. Accommodation can be made for a one time use or a series of classes or work shops. Our well appointed spaces offer flexible uses so renters can customize a location to meet the requirements of their event though set up and clean up are the responsibility of the user. We do provide all the necessary materials and equipment you will need for the cleaning we expect along with a fully detailed Opening and Closing Information Sheet.
As you can assume, WHUUF is a smoke-free facility.
Our parking lot will hold 50 cars and off site parking will accommodate more.
The Sacred Grove, as we affectionately call our wooded space out back, is a special place in the city. There are marked trails through douglas fir and native plantings. The specialness of The Sacred Grove can be viewed from almost every room and window in our facility and when the weather cooperates, we enjoy services in our outdoor sanctuary on pews of fallen logs. A paved patio area off Forest Hall can expand that area on nice days with wooden benches, careful landscaping and a fire pit.

Our Sanctuary, at 1100 square feet, seats up to 140 and is a showcase for a revolving monthly art show for the Doll Gardner Gallery.
The casual elegance of this large room emanates from the wood trim, the polished floor, a handsome pair of wall sculptures by Roy Setziol frame the stage. Tall windows let in views of the beautiful forest grounds. Comfortable upholstered chairs add warmth and are movable. The absence of sectarian symbols on our walls may be important to your participants or guests.
The space includes a sound system, multimedia equipment with a pull down screen and a grand piano. Variable lighting allow you to create the ambiance for a range of events including weddings, lectures, small concerts, bar/bat mitzvahs, dances, recpetions, graduations, recitals, services, work shops and more.
With a feel of casual elegance, this room can be transformed into a variety of situations meeting many needs from parties, receptions, workshops, and classes to name of few of its numberous uses. The floor to ceiling windows give the space a spacious feeling taking in the forested landscape. In addition, Forest Hall opens onto a patio further extending the space. Readily available tables and chairs offer easy space conversions to meet your needs. As are all spaces at West Hills, Forest Hall is handicapped assessible.
This inviting adult meeting room for up to 14 features a long table, comfortable, upholstered chairs, and carpeted floor. Shaded windows and dimmable lights allow you to vary the ambience to suit your gathering. As named, this comfortable adult meeting space has an operable fireplace. Set with a table and chairs centered in the room, it is easy to step into the space for a meeting or gathering.
This colorful room is used by children and adults. Chairs to accommodate both body sizes are available. Tables, a sink, counter space, good lighting and a beautiful view of our forested surrounding make this an enjoyable location for a small group.
